Erkina villas has developed a protocol to take measures, prevent and manage suspected Covid-19 cases in order to limit the spread of the virus to staff and guests. The plan is conformed by the recommendations of Greece\u2019s public health organization \u2013 EODY. According the recommendation of EODY Erkina villas management has appointed a health coordinator\u00a0 to supervise that protocol is being followed and a doctor on call who will act on the instructions of EODY for testing suspected cases of Covid-19. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Staff<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • The staff is aware of how the Covid-19 virus is transmitted and able to provide information to guests.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Employees provided with personal protective equipment (masks, gloves) and they undergo thermal screening every morning.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  • The staff members are trained on practices for cleaning and disinfecting identified spots, on following hygiene rules to avoid transmitting the virus (frequent hand washing, avoiding handshakes, physical distancing, avoiding contact of hands with eyes, nose and mouth and respiratory hygiene).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Cleaning, disinfection, housekeeping<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Erkina Villas implements improved disinfection and deep cleaning practices in accordance to EODY instructions.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • In addition to the normal cleaning, all the \u201chigh-frequency \u201ctouch points\u201d are being sanitized and disinfected.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Hand sanitizers are present in each room.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • The detailed cleaning and change of sheets, pillowcases and towels is carried out only upon request from guests or upon our normal schedule (twice a week)<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • We have removed from villas, every object such as extra pillows, bedding and shared multi-purpose items.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Fabric surfaces (e.g. furniture upholstery) are cleaned with a steam appliance.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Between stays of guests, the rooms are being sanitized and disinfected.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The Guests<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

      • Antiseptic for the guests are provided in Villas.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Staff members are keeping the appropriate distance (at least 1,5 meters from customers).<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • When requested, staff is capable to inform guests on the Erkina Villas\u2019 rules and the new measures taken<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Staff is able to identify symptoms and report them to the health coordinator.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • All keys are disinfected.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
